PEOPLE are being invited to register their interest for more than 150 new homes which are currently being built in Coventry.

Work is under way at Persimmon Homes’ Bluebell Wood development in Willenhall .

In total 155 new homes are being built as part of a huge construction project which has created 600 jobs.

Roles created include direct staff, contractors and others in the wider supplier network.

Interest in the new homes at Bluebell Wood is strong already, with more than 300 people registering their interest. The development, which Persimmon Homes said would provide much needed housing stock in the Coventry area, will offer a mixture of properties, with two, three and four bedrooms.

The housebuilder said it hopes to have a four-bedroom Roseberry showhome ready for September, with the first home owners completing their purchases in the autumn.

Sarah Read, head of sales at Persimmon Homes Central, said: “This development is certainly attracting some interest as it will appeal to a wide cross-section of buyers.

“It is also in a great location, with good commuter links, and is close to Willenhall Wood, which is renowned for its stunning display of bluebells in early summer, which gave the development its name.”

She added: “People can now buy off-plan, before a single brick has even been laid, which means they can secure their preferred property and plot.

“In addition, reserving at this stage means customers can truly personalise their home by choosing from a range of ‘finishing touches’ - fixtures and fittings items such as kitchen units, appliances, waterfall showers, wall tiles and flooring options.

“With so many people registering an interest, we would urge people to hurry as we believe this development will sell quickly.”
