A BRAND new steakhouse is coming to Coventry - and it’s recruiting now.

Advertisements for Steakout Meat House have been spotted on the ground floor of a new complex on Corporation Street in the city centre.

The former Co-Op building is being transformed into a mix of high-spec apartments, office, retail and leisure space by award-winning developers EDG Property.

The halal meat house was the first restaurant to announce it would be coming to the new venue and more are expected to follow.

Steakout , which already has eight venues - predominantly in the South East - is investing around £500,000 and creating 20 jobs at the new restaurant.

Posters on the outside of the building ask anyone interested in working there to send a copy of their CV to jobs@steakoutuk.com.

The restaurant will be ‘opening soon’ according to the new branding but there is no official opening date yet.

The posters give an idea of what dishes diners will find in the new restaurant - steak, chicken, burgers and pies will all be on the menu.

Diners can also expect to see Steakout’s popular milkshake and gelato bar Shakeout once the restaurant opens up.

Shakeout bars are exclusive to the chain’s newest and largest restaurants.

The meathouse originated in 2008 and according to their website is now one of the most recognised halal steak dining chains in the UK.

The ambitious mix-used development, named The Co-Operative, is due to be finished by spring 2019.
