Barbecue

-

Folks who have a barbecue on a hot an sunny day Windows open widely, When smoke then drifts your way. You wonder what the food tastes like, Although it’s blackened state The flies are having a field day Until about half past eight. I cannot wait till sun down The smoke then dies away I hope it rains tomorrow So as not another smokey day. Sandra Camwell Keresley
