Football Kyle makes Bulls move permanent
COVENTRY City forward Kyle Finn has left the club in a bid to kick-start his senior career.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has been on loan at non-league Hereford and has now upgraded his stay to a permanent deal.
Finn originally arrived at Edgar Street at the end of October on an initial one-month loan deal and after impressing during the first month he extended his spell for a further month at the beginning of December. With his loan deal expiring on January 5, talks have been ongoing with the Sky Blues to make the arrangement a permanent one and the player signed an 18-month deal with The Bulls this week.
Head of football, Tim Harris said: “Kyle is someone we’ve known for a while and has shown a great commitment and desire to sign for ourselves and we are pleased that he has agreed to make the switch and join us on a permanent deal.
“He has a bright future in the game and it’s important that we look after these players as we ourselves look to progress.
Finn made 11 appearances for The Bulls during his loanspell, and Harris says that the midfielder appreciates that the competitiveness of the National League North is helping him to improve as a player.
“After being at Coventry for many years Kyle feels that the benefit and opportunity to play first-team football in the Vanarama National North is the best way for him to progress his career. Hopefully, he’ll continue to develop as a player.”
