Squad aim to bounce back from defeats

WARWICKSHIRE will have the ideal opportunity to bounce back from two successive defeats in the Premier Division of the BDO Inter County Championships when they face second-bottom Essex in Coventry this weekend.

The county squad will be looking to boost their top-three hopes with a win at the Bishopsgate Club, Foleshill Road.

Fourth-in-the-table Warwickshire are only eight points behind third-placed Glamorgan who they will play at the beginning of March.

In their final two games of the season they will play Hampshire and Northamptonshire, who are currently below them in the table, so a top-three place is not beyond them.
