Economic suicide over Brexit

-

THE Irish insistence upon the backdrop in the negotiations for Brexit would result in economic suicide for the Irish in order that they could deliver a bloody nose to the British. Are they absolutely mad?

We of the Irish diaspora one time hoped that reunification could take place in our lifetime but the troubles of the 1970s have put back such a scenario by at least 50 years.

Clearly Leo Varadkar believes he sees a shortcut to an inevitable re-joining of the island of Ireland under one flag. If so he is much mistaken.
