WINDOW PAIN!

CITY GET READY FOR TRANSFER FIGHT AS SHARKS CIRCLE AROUND STAR McCALLUM

- > ANDY TURNER REPORTS:

Saturday when they played alongside each other at Colchester amid a striker shortage.

ZAIN WESTBROOKE 8

The midfielder has stepped out of Tom Bayliss’ shadow this season and proved to be a more than capable player at this level, enjoying arguably his best game to date at Colchester at the weekend.

CALLUM O’HARE 7.5

The attacking midfielder has been a lively addition to the team since joining on loan from Aston Villa.

JORDAN SHIPLEY 7.5

The Sky Blues Academy graduate has kicked on again this season. Approaching 100 games for his home town club, the 22-year-old midfielder appeared to cement his place in the starting line-up before dropping to the bench for a few games. But Shipley bounced back with a goal in the FA Cup.

GERVANE KASTANEER 5.5

Kastaneer is a world beater on his day but just not yet done it enough this season.

JORDY HIWULA 6

Last season’s top scorer is yet to get going in 2019/20. He’s scored four goals but passed up a stack of chances and is seemingly going through a crisis of confidence. Hiwula’s progress hasn’t been helped by three weeks out with an ankle injury but the striker needs to step up on his return or risk Robins losing patience with him.

AMADOU BAKAYOKO 7

Another player with all the raw attributes at his disposal but doesn’t always make the most of them.

But the big centre-forward is enjoying a decent run in the side at the minute after the manager’s frustrations boiled over at MK Dons, after which Bakayoko scored in consecutive games.

MATTY GODDEN 6

Made a promising start to the season with four goals in eight games but they dried up as he missed chances that he’d have been expected to stick away. Godden has been out injured for a month.

MAX BIAMOU 8

Biamou showed patience and determination to fight his way back into the team. The fans’ favourite has an eye for the spectacular and has scored four brilliant goals since bursting back into the side, including a hat-trick in the EFL Trophy.

The only blip is a red card, for which he is serving a three-match ban.
