- By GRAEME BROWN

GREAT British Bake Off producers are on the hunt for people from Coventry and Warwickshire to take part in the next series.

Love Productions, the company behind the show, has been in touch with the Telegraph saying they are looking for people in this area.

Last year’s cohort included Royal Shakespeare Company theatre manager Michael Chakraverty from Stratford-upon-Avon - who proved a popular contestant.

Now, just weeks after series 10 finished Great British Bake Off bosses are looking ahead to series 11.

So if you are handy with a whisk, or know someone who is, the n apply.

David Atherton was crowned this year’s winner, and you could be following in his footsteps.

The 36-year-old from London triumphed in the final, beating fellow finalists Alice Fevronia and bookies’ favourite Steph Blackwell.

After two months of baking, 13 amateur bakers were whittled down to just three and David, Alice and Steph took on their final challenge.

The popular show will return to screens next year and Channel 4 need a whole new host of enthusiastic bakers to take part.

So if you, or someone you know, can separate your ramekins from your bread tins, you could join Paul, Prue, Noel and Sue.

If you are interested, you need to apply online by January 5, 2020. You will need to be 16 or over by January 1, 2020.

Alternatively you can ask for an application form to be posted to you by calling 0207 067 4837 or by email: applyforbakeoff@loveproductions.co.uk
