THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW BBC1, 10.40pm

IT’S just been revealed that he’ll be hosting the Golden Globes again, and there’s another return booking for red sofa regular Ricky Gervais.

He’ll be talking about his new stage show SuperNature – a world tour is about to start – and hopefully revealing some snippets about the second series of Afterlife, which has just finished filming.

Ricky will be joined by Elizabeth Banks: actor in The Hunger Games and The Lego Movies, actor and director of Pitch Perfect 2 and 3, and writer and director of the new Charlie’s Angels movie, in which she also stars as Susan Bosley. Also making themselves comfortable will be six-time Formula One world title holder Lewis Hamilton and Kylie, who will sing a special version of number one hit, Slow, before joining the rest of the guests for chat and big red chair action.

FLIRTY DANCING Channel 4, 8pm

THIS sounds seriously naff – but is a weekly joy. Ashley Banjo is matchmaker and choreographer – he picks two seemingly compatible people, and invites them separately into his studio to learn a dance he’s devised. Then the couple meet as the music starts up and the dance begins.

They check each other out during the performance but, when it ends, must go their separate ways – without ever having spoken. The next day they must decide if they want a date.

It sounds weird, but it’s adorable. Tonight’s prospective couples are fitness fans Nigel and Emma, and old school romantics Toby and Courtney.
