‘Outrageous’ Bongo’s Bingo coming to Cov

BONGO’S Bingo is promising an “outrageous” reboot of the game when it lands in Coventry.

The world-famous rave event is coming to the Rialto Plaza in Coundon, and the first two shows have already sold out.

The fresh take on the traditional numbers game has a live show, ‘allinclusive’ party and heads-down competition to be first to call house.

Since 2015, the bingo party has spread across 40 locations including Australia, Dubai, Ibiza, France and around the UK.

With the first two Coventry shows having already sold out at the multipurpose venue, a St Patrick’s Day special has been announced for Tuesday, March 17.

Revellers are promised “a night only of pure unadulterated fun, nostalgic bliss and guilty pleasures.”

The event is also billed as “immersive and interactive” in promotional material for the Coventry launch.

Bongo’s arrival in the city follows a year when it sold more than a million tickets worldwide, completed a summer of shows at Ibiza Rocks Hotel, three tours of Australia and expanded across the globe.

Launching in Coventry at the end of February, the organisers are promising to bring fun and frolics to the Rialto

Plaza, an art deco venue just outside the city centre.

In a trail for the launch, the party brand said: “Having just reached an incredible 1.5 million tickets worldwide, Bongo’s Bingo is very much at the forefront of the UK’s experience economy, heralding a new wave of desire for unique shared experiences rather than just the standard nights out in bars and clubs that have become all too familiar.

“Bongo’s Bingo is proud to offer customers a show that cannot be replicated or found elsewhere, offering everyone a wild escape from reality for a few hours where life’s worries and stresses can be left at the door.”

The party experience is billed as “an outrageous combination of an immersive live show, an all-inclusive party and heads-down game of bingo.”

The organisers say: “The traditional and very much loved quaint pastime is completely spun on its head and turned inside out again, and whilst bingo is still the very core of the show, players are plunged into a crazy few hours of pure escapism.

“Rave rounds, dance offs and insane prizes - think fluffy pink unicorns, Henry Hoovers, mobility scooters and wacky waveys - are just a few of the things setting Bongo’s Bingo apart from the average night out down at the bingo hall.”

The first event is on Saturday, February 22 but this and a second date have already sold out. Tickets are still available for the party on St Patrick’s Day.
