Subaru reveals its eco-plan for 2030s

ATOP of the range Exclusive Nav grade has been added to MG’s 3 line-up to enhance the model’s appeal. Available to order now, this new trim sits at the top of the range with the headline addition being a new version of the firm’s ‘iGo’ infotainme­nt system. That’s projected on an eight-inch display placed centrally in the dashboard and offers support for Bluetooth devices alongside Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivi­ty.

Alongside that, the MG 3 Exclusive Nav also boasts a six-speaker audio setup, DAB radio and a reversing camera.

Powering the car is the existing 1.5-litre naturallya­spirated petrol unit. It delivers 105bhp and 137Nm of torque to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox, resulting in a 0-60mph time of 10.4 seconds with a 108mph top speed.

FORD has announced hybrid versions of its popular S-Max and Galaxy models.

The pair have been revealed alongside a new €42 million (circa £35.8m) investment in Ford’s Valencia manufactur­ing plant, which will aid the firm in its electrific­ation strategy through a state-ofthe-art battery assembly facility.

Two new assembly lines will mean that lithium-ion batteries can be produced for the Kuga Plug-in Hybrid, Kuga Hybrid, S-Max Hybrid and Galaxy Hybrid alongside the vehicles themselves for a more streamline­d process. Production is set to commence in September.

Pricing for the MG 3 Exclusive Nav starts at £12,995.

The firm is also launching the model with a £1,500 deposit contributi­on when purchased through PCP.

SUBARU has confirmed a goal of ensuring all of its cars feature some form of electrific­ation technology by the mid-2030s.

It comes on top of an announceme­nt that 40% of global sales will be electric or hybrid by 2030.
