THE BEST HAND CREAMS FOR LOCKDOWN

-

RITUALS THE RITUAL OF HAPPY BUDDHA HAND BALM £9.90, rituals.com

HHHHH

CREATED using 95% natural ingredients, this promises to be refreshing, rejuvenating and hydrating. It has an amazing scent, which is sweet orange and sandalwood and long-lasting. The balm does mean it doesn’t sink in as well as a cream, so we can’t use this when typing – but worth smothering on all weekend!

THE CHEMISTRY BRAND HAND CHEMISTRY PRO REPAIR £19, lookfantastic.com

HHHHH

THIS targets density, firmness, elasticity and hydration – to give hands a well-rounded makeover. Tested on elderly skin, this cream is like magic. Hands feel very soft, but the skin also looks thicker and plumper.

NURSEM CARING HAND CREAM £9.99, Feelunique.com

HHHHH

FOR every one of these sold, the brand gives a month’s worth of free hand cream to an NHS nurse or midwife. The cream itself is one of our favourites. Washing our hands a lot has made them very dry, but this has manuka honey in and that really helped keep them soft.

NEUTROGENA NORWEGIAN FORMULA HAND CREAM £3.99, Superdrug

HHHHH MADE for the most dry and chapped hands, that have been exposed to chemicals or the elements, this really works. It repaired dry skin and even made cuticles look healthier. We don’t like greasy formulas and this doesn’t leave too much residue.

WELEDA SKIN FOOD LIGHT £7.95, lookfantastic.com

HHHHH

A LESS thick version of the original balm, but still featuring skin-loving oils like sunflower and calendula. Although a thinner consistency, it does still leave a slight film on the skin (no touching your phone screen for a good few minutes afterwards).
