Police appeal after man found with serious stab injury

WEST Midlands Ambulance Service has released a statement following the stabbing of a man over the weekend.
Emergency services were called to James Galloway Close in Coventry on April 25.
The ambulance service sent one ambulance and a paramedic officer.
The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance also attended.
Upon arrival, medics found one patient - a man with a serious stab injury.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital
A spokesman said: “We were called at 9.50pm on Saturday (April 25th) to reports of a stabbing on
James Galloway Close, Coventry.
“One ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended the scene.
“On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was treated for a serious stab injury before being taken to hospital for further treatment.”
Following the incident, a West
Midlands Police spokesman said the man, who is in his 40s, was in a ‘critical but stable’ condition.
They also confirmed that two arrests were made in connection with the incident.
A 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a 49-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of wounding.
Both have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
West Midlands Police have confirmed the man remains in the same condition and that investigations are continuing.
