Thanks for clearing up city cemetery

A COUPLE of weeks ago I was minded to write and complain about the condition of Canley Cemetery and Crematorium.
After visiting it weekly and in particular today, I am more than happy to report that conditions have improved, to the extent that as I approached the main area of the Places of Rest I was agreeably surprised to notice that a significant improvement has taken place.
The piles of redundant junk have now been cleared, the flower beds on the approach roads contain really quite nice displays, the grass has been cut neatly and the mood of my visit was lightened considerably by the pleasure of being able to admire the quality of the surroundings.
I won’t go on any more about how much better things are but a “big up” to the staff responsible. Thankyou.

Heartwarming story welcome at this time
MAY I wish John Farringdon a belated happy 107th birthday.
It was lovely to read the article about him in the Coventry Telegraph and it is amazing to think of all the changes to our lives he would have seen over that period of time.
A truly heartwarming feel good news story that is much needed at the moment.

Priorities seem all wrong to me
SHOPS are now open, huge queues at food outlets, hundreds of people protesting... but I still can’t see my at-risk elderly parents at the same time and schools might not fully open until September at the earliest.
Has this hopeless and struggling government really got its priorities right.
