THE location of the latest winners in the People’s Postcode Lottery in Coventry has been revealed.

Four people in the city are celebrating after winning £1,000 each thanks to their postcode being picked in the draw.

The lucky winners live in Essex Close.

The neighbours netted the windfall when CV5 7HX was announced as a daily prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Wednesday August 26.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie Mccourt sent her congratulations to the winners. She said: “What a lovely surprise for our winners.

“Congratulations to them and I hope they go and treat themselves to something nice with their winnings.”

At the weekend five Nuneaton neighbours were celebrating after their postcode scooped them £1,000 each.

The lucky Central Avenue neighbours netted the windfall when CV11 5BB was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Sunday (August 23).

Last month 12 people, all from Houldsworth Crescent in Holbrooks, secured the daily prize in the People’s Postcode Lottery.

A minimum of 32% of People’s Postcode Lottery ticket sales goes directly to charities.

To date players have raised more than £600m for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

The winning Coventry draw this week was promoted by Save the Children which has received over £10.1 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Save the Children connects parents, teachers, and childcare experts to build a brighter future for children across the UK.

It works to give children the support they need from the very start of life.

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
