Siberian husky Murphy is looking for experienced husky owners - or someone willing to research the breed.

The two to five-year-old pooch is a lively lad looking for an active home with patient owners.

Murphy has previously lived with children and would be happy to live with little ones over the age of eight. He loves canine company and could live with a like minded playful dog in his new home.

The charity said: “Murphy does have high husky traits so new owners will need to research the breed, he also hates the car and will need further training with this.

“Any time left will need to be built up slowly, fencing will need to be 6ft and fully secure. Murphy is not suitable to live with cats or small furies.”

Lovely lurcher Oliver is hoping to find a quiet forever home with pawrents willing to take a chance on him.

He’s over eight years old and has been with Dogs Trust for two years. He would be happy to live with teenagers - but is uncomfortable around other dogs.

Oliver loves a snuffle box, searching for treats and playing brain training games.

Dogs Trust said: “Oliver does need to be the only pet in his new home. He is very uncomfortable around other dogs, and is walked with a muzzle as he can be very reactive.

“Oliver is not suitable to live in a flat and needs access to his own secure garden where he can relax and play with his toys.”

This lively lurcher is said to be Rocket by name and rocket by nature! He’s between two and five years old and loves throwing his toys around.

Rocket is ‘full of life and character’ to keep you on your toes, and will do anything for food.

Dogs Trust said: “Rocket is a very loving lad once he gets to know you and loves human company for this reason he is looking for a home with someone around most of the day.

“Rocket being a lurcher he is super fast and has a high chase drive, for this reason he is currently learning to wear a muzzle. This will also benefit him as he can be reactive around some dogs.

“People who are experienced with lurchers would be ideal to offer this wonderful boy his perfect home so they understand his beautiful, clownish behaviour that lurchers have to offer!

“He will need to be given lots to keep him occupied to prevent him finding his own entertainment.”
