Please do the right thing to help us all

-

THE coronavirus second wave warnings are clear – if we don’t take action now then we are in real trouble again.

I don’t understand why people can’t see that if we don’t obey the new rules then like France and Spain we are going to see hundreds of more people in hospital and many more deaths.

Cases are rising in our area and will continue to do so if people don’t start to take responsibility and stop this surge which will surely grow even more during the winter months.

Act now and we could get it under control until a vaccine offers us all hope of getting back to normal once and for all.

It will be virtually impossible to police the new six rules so we must take action ourselves and do the right thing to protect everyone, young and old.

No return to panic buying in shops

PLEASE don’t go back to the madness earlier in the year when shoppers tried to stockpile toilet rolls and anything else they thought was going to be in short supply.

The pandemic crisis has show us that supermarkets will not run out of food and essential items, it is panic-buying which leads to that.

So if we are hit by another lockdown let’s all act like adults and just shop as normal that will mean there will be plenty of stuff for everyone.

I’m sure some people must still have supplies from the last panic-buying frenzy so please think of everyone and we will get through this as before.

P. Morton, Coventry.
