Well done Boris... Brexit is will of people

-

WELL done Boris Johnson for using Penny Mordaunt to warn off Remoaners in The House Of Lords against trying to block Boris Johnson’s Internal Market Bill.

Penny’s Peer Punch has certainly made a splash with me.

Has-been’s like former Chancellors Hammond and Clarke have had their day as have John Bercow and Anna Soubry who were quite rightly snubbed from a seat in The House of Lords.

They lost the referendum, they lost out in their plot to overthrow the result so I don’t think it’s going to be third time lucky.

Even if they try, it’s good to see that Boris now has another big hitter in Ian Botham to bowl them out.

Brexit is the will of the people and I have no doubt that even if we leave without a deal, Boris Johnson and his Conservative Party will be blessed for years to come for getting us out of the shackles of such a failing empire.

Help to save lives

THIRTY obsolete red BT phone boxes are awaiting adoption by community groups in Coventry (Coventry Telegraph 06/10/20).

May I suggest that they are all used to house bleed kits in light of the amount of shootings and stabbings that now seem to be occurring in the city on a weekly basis.

Just like defibrillators, they can help to save lives.
