New office just the ticket for fans

- By ANDY TURNER

Sky Blues Reporter COVENTRY City have confirmed they will be opening a ticket office at the Ricoh Arena for the first time in eight years, in the latest boost to fans.

The Sky Blues ticket office has been based at the Butts Park Arena since 2015, but a new outlet is set to return to the Ricoh for the first time since 2013 when the club first moved away from the stadium to Northampton.

The new ticket office will be in the south-east corner of the stadium, alongside the new club shop which has also been confirmed to be moving to the Ricoh.

Building work on the new site will commence shortly, with the combined club shop and ticket office at the Ricoh Arena set to open in July in time for the 2021/22 season.

Tickets will still be available at eticketing.co.uk/ccfc as the Sky Blues continue to work with Ticketmaster, with buying online the quickest and easiest way for fans to buy.

Sky Blues chief executive Dave Boddy said: “Opening a new ticket office, exclusively for Coventry City, at the stadium is more positive news for the club and for our supporters as a result of our new agreement at the Ricoh Arena.

“Having a ticket office at the ground on matchdays and non-matchdays is natural for football clubs and this will improve the way that we operate for fans and as a club.

“We will also have the flexibility to use the Wasps ticket office facility for bigger games if necessary, as they will with our facility.

“I would like to place on record our thanks to Coventry Rugby Club for hosting our main ticket office for nearly six years now, and to their staff too who have always been extremely helpful and supportive to us.”
