HOW THEY RATED

- By Andy Turner

BEN WILSON: Not tested in the first half but he was alert to danger and kicked reasonably well. Called upon to make his first save from Wycombe’s first shot on target on 83 minutes, diving low to his left to deny Fred Onyedinma. 6

MICHAEL ROSE: Slotted in on the right of the back three on his return to the side in place of the suspended Kyle Mcfadzean and made a key block to deny Stewart from a setpiece. Linked up nicely with Dabo in the first half and excellent in possession. 7

LEO OSTIGARD: Slotted straight into the more central role in the back three where he kept close tabs on big striker Ikpeazu and defended really well, using his aerial ability to good effect. 7.5 DOM HYAM: Started strongly, winning his headers and reading the game well. 7 FANKATY DABO: Teed Hamer up for an early chance as he worked the right flank well but limped off injured with what looked like a pulled hamstring on 40 minutes. 6 GUS HAMER: Missed a glorious chance with 64 seconds on the clock. Came to life in the second half when he started to exert his influence. 6.5

LIAM KELLY: Cool, calm and collected, mopping up loose and second balls and getting his foot in where needed to block shots. Limped off injured just past the hour. 7

MATTY JAMES: Sat a little deeper in a box midfield alongside Kelly where he worked incredibly hard helping to win possession. Played some lovely passes to send Dabo and O’hare in behind early on. 7

SAM MCCALLUM: Ventured forward well and made excellent use of his long throw to spark attacks. 6

CALLUM O’HARE: As lively and busy in the final third as ever, and again the victim of close attention from the opposition intent on stopping him by any means necessary. 6.5

MAX BIAMOU: Created an opportunity for himself in the fifth minute when he was denied by the keeper and played through by Mccallum on 22 but volleyed wide under pressure. But worked hard. 6

SUBSTITUTES JULIEN DACOSTA (41 mins, for the injured Dabo): Showed some nice touches but took time to get into the game. Provided a decent outlet on the right but lacked quality in his final ball. 5 TYLER WALKER (64 mins, for the injured Kelly): Well shackled by Wycombe’s big centre-backs. 5 JOSH PASK (64 mins, for Rose): Slotted in nicely in a straight swap. 6

MATTY GODDEN (81 mins, for Biamou): Ran well but not enough time to make the desired impact. 5

BEN SHEAF (81 mins, for O’hare)
