LAST week I was very pleased to make my individual contribution to the outstanding and ongoing success of the UK’S Covid-19 vaccination programme.

Thank you to Dr Dosanj who administered me with the jab and to everybody at Quinton Park Medical Centre in Cheylesmore for running such a friendly and efficient operation. It makes me proud to be British.

A magnificent achievement

WHAT a magnificent achievement for our sensational NHS staff to give out 844,285 jabs in just 24 hours.

This simply underlines what an incredibly resilient army of people they really are.

Words cannot describe the relief for the families of these people.

Yet the EU, true to its dictatorial colours, wants to spark a jabs war by trying to block the export of potential booster jabs for these same people.

If this doesn’t underline how right we were to vote for Brexit then nothing will.

Rule Britannia!

Thank you for handing in card

I’D just like to pass on my genuine thanks to the kind person who handed my credit card into Asda, Walsgrave, on Friday evening.

It was much appreciated; saved me a lot of inconvenience – and it’s good to know you showed real integrity.

Thank you!

Bigger fined needed for litter louts

SO a recent letter tells us that the cost of cameras would be worth it to stop fly-tippers.

Whilst I agree with the cameras, I would suggest that the fines are much too low and should include extra contributions to the cost of effort and equipment needed to obliterate this scourge.
