Paloma opens up about baby blues
Postnatal depression in the spotlight in this round-up of what to listen to
After her own terrifying experience of postnatal depression, presenter Laura Dockrill has decided to speak openly about a condition that affects more than one in 10 mothers in the UK.
Joining her for the launch episode is singersongwriter Paloma Faith, who convinced herself her first baby was not her own in the early days of motherhod.
It took two years to feel like herself again and during that time she had to deal with her own possessiveness of her child and visit couples therapy to address the changes in her relationship.
Faith is impassioned, frank and often extremely funny.

YOU HAVEN’T HEARD THIS MUSIC PODCAST
This fun podcast shines a light on music you may never discover without it.
It’s a set format, starting with the presenters choosing tracks to showcase from those that have been submitted. Then they all give their thoughts and the special guest picks a favourite.
There’s also a Wild Card, chosen at random from the podcast’s inbox. While presenters Wayne, Ritchie and Eimear are lighthearted and chatty, and the format is a bit gameshowy, the music is taken very seriously.
The hosts obviously know their stuff and give insightful responses to all the tracks, even when they are not going to be adding them to
their favourites.
