Role play village and restaurant opens at Rialto
FUN-FILLED VENUE HOPES TO ‘IGNITE IMAGINATIONS’ OF YOUNGSTERS
A ‘SUPER IMMERSIVE’ role play village has opened in Coventry in the hope of encouraging kids to better use their imagination.
Little Lane Play Village, situated within Rialto Plaza, is designed to ‘encourage stimulating and meaningful play’ where little ones can have fun discovering role play situations centred on their own first-hand experiences.
The centre, which also has a restaurant offering hot and cold refreshments for children and parents, offers nine different role play locations.
There’s the village store, hospital, bets, Bella’s Boutique, police station, bakery, farmyard, construction site and also a baby sensory area.
A spokesperson for the village said: “After spending countless weekends travelling outside of Coventry to take our little girl to various role play villages it suddenly dawned on us how amazing it would be to have a safe place for creative play closer to home. Coventry doesn’t have anything like this anywhere and from that thought Little Lane Play Village was born.” They added: “Our mission is to provide a friendly, welcoming environment for children to play and explore, using their imaginations to become a doctor, police officer, farmer and much more. We’ve been looking for the perfect location for a while.
“It has been a long journey to get everything built and created but it has been worth every second. The response so far has been next level. “There are obviously so many parents like us keen for somewhere new and fun to take the kids. Our main goal is to ignite children’s imaginations, we want it to be a memory making experience.”
The centre will open from 9.30am to 5.15pm on nonschool holiday weekdays with weekend and bank holiday sessions available as well as party packages. Full info is available at www.littlelaneplayvillage.com/
