THE Newdigate Arms in Bedworth has been transformed following a £360,000 makeover.

The pub, which has been operated by Tom and Sammy Durnion for four years, has been upgraded across the board with a joint investment with pub owner Greene King Pub Partners.

As part of the transformation, the pub has also had a new private function room added.

It can seat 30 people comfortably, the owners say, and is available for all special occasions and celebrations.

The new-look pub includes all new decorative wallpaper, brass lighting, furniture, booth seating, flooring, wall panelling and more.

As a result of the transformation of the pub, the space inside it has increased by 30 square metres, allowing for more than 60 new table spaces for customers to use.

A spokesman said: “Popular with families, The Newdigate Arms is known for its warm welcome, local food, premium wines, lagers and spirits and a relaxed atmosphere in a contemporary setting.”

Tom and Sammy Durnion said in a joint statement: “I am delighted to have completed the transformation of The Newdigate Arms.

“Thanks to the makeover, the pub looks incredible. And with our new private function room we can now host celebrations and special occasions for the local community. Come check out the new look pub and try our great food and drink.”
