TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMEN­TS DARTMOUTH ROAD, COVENTRY

Coventry City Council, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (as amended), has made a temporary Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting, loading/unloading entering or proceeding along that part of Dartmouth Road commencing at a point 50m north west of its junction with Tiverton Road and ending 120m south east of its junction with Torcross Avenue.

The Order will come into effect at 08:00 on 31st October 2022 and is required to enable water service utility works to be undertaken safely. The Order will remain in place for a maximum of eighteen months to allow for unexpected events, but it is envisaged the works will be completed by 18:00 on 11th November 2022 (whichever is the earlier). The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site.

The specific closure times will apply as the signage indicates on site. Diversion(s) for vehicular traffic will be as signed on site. Exemptions will be provided for:(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable

in uniform or civil enforcemen­t officer in uniform;

(b) emergency service vehicles, local authority vehicles and statutory undertaker vehicles at the time of an emergency for that vehicle to have access to part of a street under restrictio­n imposed by the Order; (c) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said

works;

(d) local vehicular access to Dartmouth Road

Any vehicle waiting in contravent­ion of any restrictio­n imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulation­s 1986.
