THE number of former senior Wasps players made redundant following the club’s financial collapse who have since found new clubs continues to rise.

Players, coaches and staff were all included in the 167 people who lost their jobs last month when Wasps Holdings Limited entered into administration.

So far, the Coventry Telegraph understands that 15 senior players have officially landed new clubs, they are listed below…

Biyi Alo (Racing 92): Was the first to land a new club but has yet to make his debut in France. The deal is until the end of the season.

Charlie Atkinson (Leicester Tigers): There was no shortage of interested parties for the talented young fly-half who won’t be moving far after signing a long-term contract with the Premiership champions.

Josh Bassett (Harlequins): The prolific tryscoring winger made his debut for Quins in last weekend’s victory over London Irish.

Nizaam Carr (Bulls): South African returned to the club he left in 2021 to commence his third spell with Wasps.

Cameron Dodson (Stade Aurillacois Cantal Auvergne): The second row was the only signing Wasps made following the lifting of their recruitment freeze in the summer. While he appeared in preseason, he left the club having not made his competitive debut. Joined the French Pro D2 club as a medical joker.

Dan Frost (Exeter Chiefs): Hooker was snapped up by Rob Baxter on injury dispensation as Iestyn Harris recovers from back surgery.

Vincent Koch (Stade Francais): Wasps fans never got to see their big signing for this season play in Black and Gold, he was forced to withdraw from the only matchday squad he was selected for due to flu. Arrived in Paris as a medical joker for Paul Aloemile.

Kiran Mcdonald (Munster): Scottish lock had a fast start to life at Wasps and was impressive before the club’s collapse. Joined Munster shortterm to help solve their injury crisis in the position.

Robin Hislop (Saracens): Another Scotsman who has found a move, heading for a second spell at Saracens to provide more competition at loosehead prop. Matteo Minozzi (Benetton): Italian is heading home for the remainder of the season, where he will team up with former Wasps colleague, Marcus Watson, who joined in the summer.

Paolo Odogwu (Stade Francais): Joined Koch in Paris as a medical joker for the injured Sefa Naivalu. Will Porter (Bristol Bears): Pat Lam acted swiftly following the injury to Harry Randall to bring in the talented scrum-half as cover. Made his Bristol debut from the bench away at Northampton Saints.

John Ryan (Munster): Rejoined the Irish province after making four Wasps appearances, and started in their most recent match against Ulster.

Brad Shields (Perpignon): England back row fractured his thumb in Wasps’ opening game of the season, but is nearing full fitness. Was named by the Barbarians as a player who will feature against Northampton Saints prior to his move to the Top 14 being announced.

Will Simonds (Chinnor): Young centre took an opportunity with National League One side Chinnor.
