Matt Bostock, 18: From Isle of Man, first-year Academy rider enjoying his debut U23 season on the road.

Gabriel Cullaigh, 20: Yorkshire born, started as a mountain bike rider before switching to road and track when he joined the Academy in 2014. Shown form on the road with third at the under-23 Ghent-wevelgem this year.

Nathan Draper, 19: Notched up road victories in the five-stage Junior Tour of Wales and junior road race championsh­ips last year. Another Isle of Man native.

Matt Gibson, 19: Won gold in the team pursuit at the European Track Champs last year, and added another two in the U23 competitio­n. Enjoyed an impressive Tour Series victory in Peterborou­gh in 2014.

Joe Holt, 19: Won a number of Welsh national titles as a junior before winning the ‘Hoy Future Stars’ award at the Revolution track series in 2014. First year at the Academy.

Mark Stewart, 20: Won his first senior gold medal in the scratch race at the Track World Cup in 2015 in New Zealand. Made his Commonweal­th Games debut for Scotland in 2014.

Joey Walker, 19: Son of British racing legend Chris Walker, his sister Jessie is also a pro rider. Was the 2015 junior European points race champion.

Ollie Wood, 20: Won medals as part of the team pursuit in last week’s Track World Cup and U23 European Championsh­ips. Scored promising top10s this year on the road racing in Europe.
