We all have bikes in common

Offering advice to those looking to make their first steps, frame builder Hartley told us: “Just do it. I’ve been in a few industries and this is the most friendly. Everyone loves bikes, so we all have that in common.”

O’moreau, at 28, is the youngest of our industry women, but shares wise words: “Most of the time humans in general are so good at talking ourselves out of trying new things, because it’s scary — but what’s the worst that could happen? It’s such a friendly industry; everyone is so ready to help each other out.”
