What’s the worst bit of cycling advice you’ve ever been given?

When I was 15 I stretched for 10 minutes after a club turbo session. One of the members came up to me and said, “Never stretch as a tight muscle fires better.” So I never stretched again and ran into a whole heap of trouble years down the line. Jody Warrington
