Cwm Taf Community Health Council: Your Health, Your Voice

-

THE Welsh Government has circulated the following information in an attempt to provide residents in the Cwm Taf area with the opportunity to apply to become a member of our Community Health Council.

Do you have an interest in your local NHS? Do you want to improve local health services in your area? Do you have 3-5 days free per month to become a volunteer?

If so, then please consider becoming a volunteer of the Cwm Taf Community Health Councils (CHC) in Wales.

CHCs represent the independent voice of patients and the public who use the health service in Wales. They play an important role in influencing the way services are planned and delivered, to ensure the best possible health and wellbeing outcomes for all people in Wales.

CHC members are local volunteers who act as the eyes and ears of patients and the public, listening to their concerns and working with the health service to improve the quality of patient care.

Successful candidates will be given full training and support and any ‘out of pocket’ expenses such as travel will be reimbursed.

Closing date for applications is June 13, 2016, and interviews will take place w/c July 4, 2016.
