● Mental Health Forum: Do you care for someone with a mental illness? Wold you like to meet people on a similar situation to yourself?
Then come along to our Mental Health Forum for Carers. Our next meeting in on Tuesday, July 19, from 10.30am-12.30pm at Heddfan, Ilan Avenue, Rhydyfelin CF37 5PN.

● Carers Go Wild Family
Fun Day: Join us on Wednesday July 27, from 10.30am-330pm for lots of outdoor family fun at Dare Valley Country Park, Aberdare.
There will be orienteering, clue hunts, bush craft, mud play and much more.
Carers and cared for welcome. Please bring a packed lunch and wear suitable clothing/ footwear.

● All Aboard for Autism: An autism-friendly 3k sponsored walk around the perimeter of Drayton Manor Theme Park, home of Thomas Land, has been planned at Drayton Manor on September 24.
Registration is £6 per person or £20 for a group of four. The walk will be marshalled by none other than The Fat Controller, and you can complete a fun Thomas and Friends treasure hunt on your way around!
There will be a free ticket to Drayton Manor Theme Park to any adult who raises £25 or more, and any child who raises £20 or more.

Project: Do you look after someone who is ill, frail, has a disability or who is affected by substance misuse? If so, the Carers Project is here to help.
We support carers in RCT and can offer information, signposting, counselling, discounted access to leisure, events, newsletter and much more. Call 01443 668813.
● Carers’ Counselling: Rhondda Carers Project has a free confidential telephone and face-toface counselling service provided by qualified counsellors which is available to carers living in Rhondda Cynon Taff.

● First Aid & Heart Start: This course aims to teach you CPR and other emergency life saving skills, along with covering some basic first aid. Call Claire on 01443 668813 to book.
● Rebounders Session for Parent Carers: This activity is aimed at Parent Carers and the person they care for.
Carers are invited to join us in a mini taster session and find out all about Rebounders – Trampolining For All.
Rebounders specialise in working with all types of additional needs or disabilities. Steps and hoist are available if needed. Carers will find out about the physical and sensory benefits of the trampoline.
