Rhondda’s largest Christmas Shop expands with new Santa’s grotto

EXCITING times are ahead for the Rhondda Valley this festive season. The famous Christmas Shop in Tonypandy has opened a magical new Santa’s grotto beneath its retail store.

Months of hard work have produced a fantastic display that will dazzle you upon entering. Lit trees, icicle lights and moving figures feature in a beautiful, snowy Christmas scene before you step inside Santa’s cosy traditional grotto. For a very reasonable price of just £6 a ticket, each child receives a wrapped present from Father Christmas.

After the experience there will be an opportunity to purchase a special gift to remember your visit with photographs, snow globes, baubles and more.

The magic doesn’t end there. Directly above the grotto is the main shop which now boasts in the excess of 2,000 Christmas items from all around the world. Choose from artificial trees, decorations, floristry, plus a lighting room that showcases more than 200 products.

Set in the heart of Tonypandy opposite the bus station it’s easy to find and there’s a free car park directly opposite.
