THIS was a dour game and an under-strength Labour team struggled to string passes together. Deadlock was broken when the visitors were awarded a penalty, Pentrebach were also awarded a penalty and the game was destined for a draw and extra-time. Cascade took hold of the game and went ahead and Labour fought back with another penalty but as they pressed for an equaliser Cascade got the decisive fourth goal. Both home penalties were scored by Ryan Flood.

THE Villagers travelled to the capital with high hopes but these were dashed as the home side were just too hot to handle. The home side scored regularly and ended deserved winners, rattling in five goals.

JORDAN Best put the Rangers 2-0 ahead. Stephen Lewis then reduced the deficit only for best to restore the two-goal advantage. Rick Keating then popped up with a fourth goal to complete the scoring and secure the points.

THE Social came out on top in this high scoring, entertaini­ng game. Nathan Lewis and Jeff Holton netted two goals apiece with Luke Jones weighing in with the other goal.

THE Red were jubilant when the final whistle went as they had secured an excellent away victory. Their scorers were Malik Headington with a double and Riley Crumb.

THE visitors let in one goal but at the other end their opponents had to pick the ball out of the net on three occasions thanks to Lloyd Howells (2) and Kallum Thomas.

THE Town had victory more or less sealed by the interval as they led 6-0. The Brad kept their heads up to score a goal in the second half but also conceded another four goals. Coel McGovern (3), Devon Davies (2), Dafydd Jones, Jack Bevan, Kian Morgan, Caleb Wakeham and Adam McDonald netted the goals.

THE Western went in at half-time leading 3-0 and in the second half they kept the pressure on the visitors and were rewarded with a further five goals. Scorers were Evan Small (2), Danny Foley, Luke Harris, Morgan Jones, Kian Downes, Lewis Thomas and Ben Galvin.
