Motomec Aberdare celebrates more than 30 years in business
DIRECTOR, Eddie Hawkins, opened Motomec in 1986. After many successful years, he moved the business to Abercwmboi, where he and his team run a first-class service.
Still a hands-on director, Eddie continues to lead the team in the workshop on a daily basis.
Eddie employs two reception staff and two technicians who regularly attend training courses to ensure that their skills are kept up with the ongoing changes in the motor trade. Eddie also has an ongoing apprenticeship scheme, in order to help prepare and train technicians of the future.
In 2016 ARI Masterserve Fleet Management presented Motomec staff with a highly-commended award for their services.
Motomec is already a RAC-approved garage, and last month also became an AA-Certified garage. What better representation could you wish for!
Motomec is a very diverse company. It specialises in many services from national fleet servicing and repairs to converting suspension on vans, trucks and motor homes.

“We have a diagnostic centre where we can diagnose and repair faults on diesel and petrol vehicles, ABS, airconditioning systems, air bags, battery starters and alternators.
