Hairdresser Shauney’s hoping to be whisked away to the Isle of Fernandos
A SOUTH Wales woman is set to appear in the new series of ITV’s popular Saturday night entertainment show Take Me Out, where master matchmaker Paddy McGuinness hopes to fix her up with the man of her dreams.
Shauney, 24, a hairdresser who has been single for two years, will join the line-up of Paddy’s 30 female contestants ready to find love.
The stylist, from Bargoed, who says her celeb crush is Scotty T from Geordie Shore, lives with her mum, stepdad and little sister. Shauney’s mum is really involved in her dating life and is really keen to see her settle down with someone
With seven engagements, five weddings – soon to be six – and three tiny tots, the programme has an impressive match- making record – and host Paddy has been busy lining up a selection of single lads to brave the show’s “Love Lift”, in an attempt to impress Shauney and the rest of the girls and bag themselves a date.
For the lucky couples who manage to do get a dream date, they will be whisked off to the sunkissed Isle of Fernandos where they’ll get to know each other.
Mark Wright and Laira Jackson, hosts of ITV2’s Take Me Out: The Gossip, will be on hand with a range of fun activities including horse riding, wine tasting, helicopter rides and spa treatments. Take Me Out: The Gossip moves to a new Sunday stand-alone slot on ITV2, also airing from April.
