The millions of barely managing whom she says she will mainly focus on in her vision of a new Britain, must be highly delighted she is prioritising this imaginative change to improve their lot.

She must know that 84% of us, according to the most recent survey, and 72% of Tory voters, want to keep the ban but this clearly gives her no concern. She is gambling on a majority large enough to defeat any combined vote from the other parties to try to retain the ban. An interesting approach to democracy.
