Judge T Lloyd-Clarke explained people do go to prison for such actions but instead fined Ellis £1,000, to be paid at £20 per fortnight.
She said: “From what the officer says he doesn’t see you’ve uploaded it to any public forum.
“It’s quite clear to me that you’re very remorseful. I intend that you will forfeit the telephone but I’m going to allow you, under supervision, to extract personal information.”
