● Latest News: Wonderful news to share that local company BWM Ltd who are double glazing specialists based in Treforest are donating a fantastic £1,000 towards the purchase of our much needed replacement ambulance.

We are so very grateful to them and delighted to have their help.

● Flopsy’s Story: Some of the dogs that come in to our rescue as so traumatised it can take months to win their trust.

Flopsy came in with another two ex breeding Bichons four months ago.

So horrifically matted they had to be sedated to be shaved.

Flopsy was the worst affected of the three and had resorted to biting if a human got too close.

After a lot of hard work by her fosterers she is, at last, willing to be touched.

This is a massive achievement for this little dog and is just the beginning of learning to trust but she has learnt that human hands can be kind and gentle.

We will keep you updated with her story and you can share with us the highs and lows of Flopsy’s journey on our Facebook Page. ● Looking for Homes: Currently on foster in Cardiff is Barnaby a Basset Hound x Beagle who is two years old.

Also on foster in Newport is Grace – a two-year-old Old English Sheepdog.
