Lack of courtesy
WITH the current culture of at least two cars per household, there is a parking problem in most residential streets.
This is made all the more infuriating when a person with only one car is unable to park outside, or near to their home, and even more so when someone decides to park their car with a gap either side, the length of three quarters the length of the average family car, so that no-one can park near them.
I think there should be a law preventing such actions. Another measure I would like to see implemented is banning works vehicles parking in residential areas.
As a qualified driver with more than 52 years’ experience, one thing I have noticed in recent times is the lack of courtesy, especially by the younger generation.
But one thing I would remind them of is this: you’ll get old yourself one day, so remember... what goes around, comes around. Lyndon Morgan Gelli, Rhondda
