-

SIX members of the Falcons Martial Arts team, based in Blaina and Abertillery, were in action at the packed out WUMA Brirish Championships.

Standards were at their highest and the commitment to training put in showed and everyone fought their hearts out in a very tough competition.

Three members of the team brought home a total of five championship belts making it a very successful day for the team.

Former champion and head coach Heath Gait, who has been running Falcons Martial Arts for the last 28 years, said: “This was a very competitive competition, and it’s great to see the next generation of fighters coming through. I’m very pround of the team.”

Over the years Falcons has produced many national, international, European and world champions and the success continues today.
