The final number of employers is expected to be up to 25.

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s deputy leader and cabinet member for council business Maureen Webber said: “Once again our latest Job Fair takes place during National Apprentice Week which showcases the positive impact apprenticeships have on individuals, businesses and the economy.

“Since 2012 the Council has employed over 170 young people via its apprentice and graduate schemes and the jobs fair on March 6 is the ideal chance for residents to find out about the range of opportunities the council, as well as some of the local area’s biggest employers, have to offer.

“On top of this, attendees will be able to benefit from advice and guidance to help shape their future careers.

“Over 1000 people attended our last job fair with positive feedback received regarding the quality of the stands, the employers present and the advice provided.”

Options on offer will include the apprenticeship and graduate officer schemes delivered by the council.

Careers Wales, local colleges, Job Centre Plus and Communities First will be on hand to provide advice and deliver workshops on interview techniques.
