SEKISUI ALVEO SENIOR CUP QUARTER-FINAL PANTYSCALLOG VJ ..... 2 NAVI FC ......................... 2 (AET PANT WIN 4-3 ON PENALTIES)

THIS was a game of two halves as the visitors went in at the break with a twogoal lead, their goals coming from Connor Morris and Ceiron Clingo. The Villagers’ half-time talk certainly worked as Conner Eynon and Courtney Pippin scored to take the game into extra-time. There were no further goals so a penalty shootout was required and Pant went through winning 4-3.

PREMIER DIVISION BLUEBIRDS .................... 3 COURTHOUSE ............... 0

THIS was a decent game played in a good spirit with the half-time score 0-0 and there was no indication of what the second half delivered. Bluebirds put their scoring boots on and Ryan Lewis popped up with brace and Johnny Hier getting himself on the scoresheet to secure the three points.

PENYDARREN BGC ...... 0 SPITE FC ........................ 0

THIS was a tight game and neither defence was breached as at the final whistle both sides had to settle for a point apiece.

TERV U12 WHITE DIVISION GURNOS FC ................... 7 HEOLGERRIG RED LION ....................... 1

THE Red struggled in this game, conceding goals regularly to a hard working home side. The Red consolation came from Jack Jones free kick.

TERV U12 BLACK DIVISION PENYDARREN BGC ...... 4 RHYDFELIN ................... 2

PEN found themselves 1-0 down at half-time and needed to work hard to get back into the game. They did exactly that and goals from George Kabza, Harri Jones, Joseph Cheeke and Logan Evans turned the game around and the visitors could only manage one further goal.

TERV U13 DIVISION PONTYCLUN ................. 1 ABERFAN ....................... 6

THIS was a great team performance with everyone playing their part to secure three points but Tariq Rees had a field day as he fired in the six goals for the visitors.

TERV U15 DIVISION PENYDARREN BGC 10 RHYDFELIN 0

PEN had a great day against a plucky Rhydfelin side netting 10 without reply. Josh Edwards and Mackenie Thomas both scored hat-tricks with Rhys Hicks (2) and Rowan Pinch and Jack Morgan also getting on the score sheet.
