The one night only gig is part of the wider Rhondda Arts Festival Treorchy which will take place in various venues across Treorchy.

Cabinet member for environment and leisure, with responsibility for cultural services, Councillor Ann Crimmings said: “The council is delighted be playing a leading role in delivering the first Rhondda Arts Festival Treorchy.

“The festival will bring some special acts to the area and we are delighted to announce Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, along with special guests, as the first.

“Having such a big name in the world of music and entertainment come to the Park & Dare Theatre is testament to the quality of performers we are able to attract.
