Classic car show back by popular demand
A CLASSIC car show is back by popular demand at Rhondda Heritage Park this summer.
The trip back in time will feature dozens of classic cars at the Welsh Mining Experience in June.
The family-friendly Classic Car Show 2018, in partnership with the Glamorgan Classic Car Club, will be free for children under five.
Councillor Ann Crimmings, cabinet member for environment and leisure, with responsibility for heritage service and visitor attractions, said: “The Classic Car Show is a popular event in our calendar at the Welsh Mining Experience, attracting visitors from all over Wales.
“Enjoy a great day out exploring the history and heritage of both the motor and coal industries as you take a nostalgic look back at a different way of life in a different era.”
A Welsh Craft Fayre, organised by Craft of Hearts, will also be open at the Welsh Mining Experience on the same day.
The Classic Car Show 2018 takes place at the Welsh Mining Experience on Saturday, June 16, from 10.30am until 4.30pm.
Admission is £2 per person and free for accompanying children under the age of five.
