Isuzu finds the perfect pick-up

- ENDA MULLEN newsdesk@walesonline.co.uk

PICK-UPS remain popular and Isuzu continues to excel in delivering on this no-nonsense and hugely versatile form of motoring.

The Japanese firm used to have presence in the SUV market in the UK (remember the Trooper), and still does in other parts of the world, but these days it’s just pick-ups.

The D-Max is available in single-cab or double-cab form with a number of variants.

While there are no specific offers or incentives around the new September registration, Isuzu is offering a range of third-quarter deals which will still apply to September buyers.

Part of the IM Group in the UK, Isuzu also seem determined to increase sales with an initiative in place to expand its dealer network.

2018 has been a good year for the D-Max so far, as it has picked up three awards.

They are the What Van? Pick-up of the Year, the Trade Van Driver Best Workhorse Pick-up and the Professional Pick-up & 4x4 Most Reliable Pick-up

Isuzu says the D-Max’s selling points include “a trusted 164ps engine, class leading MPG and a reliable reputation”.

Isuzu has made the high specification Utah model available with a special finance offer.

It is being offered for £239 a month David Taylor Garages moved to its 10-acre site in 1970 and has been leading the way for everything Isuzu in Crickhowell since 1987.

It specialises in both new and used Isuzu car sales, aftersales, servicing and MOT work and has a range of fantastic offers on the latest Isuzu models. Many of its loyal customers continue to visit for their maintenance years after purchase. This is testament to its service quality and outstanding reputation in the Powys region(s).

Visit David Taylor Garages and you can view, sit in and test drive any of the models that interest you. Experienced advisers will also be at hand throughout your visit to answer any questions you may have. (excluding VAT), over 23 months, with an initial rental of £2,150 plus VAT on business contract hire.

If you thought pick-ups meant a lack of creature comforts and on-board technology then think again.

On a Utah you get keyless entry, push button start, leather upholstery, heated front seats, reversing camera and sensors, seven-inch multifunction colour touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto and more besides.

As well as the Utah, there are a number of other offers across the product range, including the range topping Isuzu D-Max Blade.

It is available from £279 (excl VAT) per month, with free Pearl White special paint finish included.

As standard, each new vehicle comes with five years’ European roadside assistance, five-year/125,000mile warranty.

Isuzu stress the D-Max is capable of achieving a combined 40.4MPG, without the need for AdBlue, unlike some other pick-ups.

All offers run until September 30 and are available direct through any official Isuzu dealer – a network Isuzu is keen to expand in the UK.

Claire Ketchion, dealer development manager for Isuzu UK, said: “The award-winning Isuzu D-Max is not just a work vehicle, it’s a vehicle with outstanding features and is a great franchise to work with, focused on what counts.”
