Anthony Rawlings’ brace, Sean Williams and match-winner Connor Goldsworth­y earned the hosts all three points.

Matthew Hibbs scored twice for Pontypridd, with Luke Gullick also netting. After the game, Llantwit boss Karl Lewis announced he would be stepping down at the end of the season.

The other games that managed to beat the weather in Division One saw Goytre beaten 2-1 at namesakes Goytre United, while Nathaniel MG Cup finalists Cambrian & Clydach drew 1-1 with Ammanford.

Craig Frater opening the scoring for Ammanford but that was cancelled out by Mark Crutch.

At Grenig Park, Cwmamman United, whose game with Ton Pentre was initially in doubt, got going – only for it then to be abandoned at half time.

Cwmamman were leading 3-2 at the time with Ryan Hurlow putting them in front for the first time in the match on 37 minutes.

The visitors had led twice through Leroy Thomas and then Leon Jacka – only for Colin Harris to reply twice for Cwmamman.

In Division Two, Swansea University enjoyed a 3-1 win at league leaders Abergavenn­y Town.

Ian Wilson, Will Toms and an own goal were on the scoresheet for the students to secure a win that moved them to within six points of Abergavenn­y with three games in hand.

Monmouth Town drew 1-1 at home with Aberbargoe­d Buds and are just a point behind Abergavenn­y but have played a game more.

Caldicot, behind Monmouth on goal difference, thumped Dinas Powys 5-2 while Risca crushed West End 6-0.

In Division Three there were wins for AFC Porth, 1-0 at Chepstow, and Pontyclun, 2-0 at Tredegar. Newport City and Treowen Stars ended 3-3, while Ynysygerwn and Panteg drew 1-1.
