UNLIKE other parts of Wales, Rhondda Cynon Taf is known for its affordability and has even been said to be the least expensive place to buy a house in the country.
It is also a UK hotspot for renovations, with almost 20% on the market at the moment including the term “recently renovated”.
According to RightMove, the average properties sold in the last year in RCT were terraced, with an average sale price of £102,745. Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £155,143 and detached properties fetched £269,718. The average overall property price in the area is £144,751.
