Now Strictly’s Anton is swept off his feet by blonde beauty
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke has been put in a spin by a glamorous blonde businesswoman.
The 46- year- old professional dancer stepped out with Hannah Summers at Strictly judge Len Goodman’s secret wedding to his long- term partner Sue Barrett on Sunday.
Hannah, who is vice president of international mobile messaging fi rm Acision, is said to have shared a suite with Anton during a two- night stay at Champneys health spa in Tring, Hertfordshire, as a romantic post- Christmas treat. The pair were full of smiles and appeared very comfortable stepping out together. It is believed they have been dating since summer.
“They seemed to be having a very relaxing time,” said a fellow patron of the spa, where a suite for two with treatments costs £ 1,700.
Anton has waltzed with some of the world’s most glamorous women in BBC1’ s hit Strictly show, including model Jerry Hall and Nancy Dell’Olio, ex- girlfriend of former England football manager Sven- Goran Eriksson, but likes to keep his off- screen relationships private.
When quizzed about his former three- year relationship with the daughter of a tycoon, he said: “With the media, people expect to know everything. But I don’t talk about my girlfriend.”
Anton, who describes himself as a straight man in a gay man’s body, has also been reticent in the past on questions of marriage. “Perhaps I’ll marry,” he said.
Last night Anton’s publicist Kate Thompson confi rmed Hannah was offi cially his girlfriend.
