STRICTLY star turn Kimberley Walsh is still uncertain about how sexy she is... despite the fact that her derriere has its own hit Twitter page.

The down- to- earth Girls Aloud star says she feels good about her body thanks to keeping fit and staying happy, no matter what her dress size.

But the 31- year- old, joint runner- up on Strictly, before Christmas, tells this month’s Cosmopolitan magazine: “I find it hard to talk about myself being sexy.” The singer admits she was stunned to find out her pert behind has its own Twitter page and has gone viral.

“It’s got a life of its own! Something about my bum was trending on Twitter recently and I was like, ‘ Oh, my god, you lot are crazy!’” she says.

She adds: “I guess my shape is more womanly than the model look, and that’s sexier. It’s not like putting on a dress suddenly makes you feel sexy. You need to feel good about yourself first. And I do – physically I’m really fit, and I’m really happy.” On re- uniting with her Girls Aloud bandmates, Kimberley says she is the cool, calm and collected member of the group, while Cheryl Cole is “motherly”.

“It’s really nice,” she says. “We’ve already fallen back into the same patterns. Well, Sarah [ Harding] is not really a party animal any more so that’s changed, but I still fulfi l the same role. Like, on our first performance everyone was getting really nervous and I was thinking, ‘ Right, OK, let’s try to calm this situation down.’ Nicola [ Roberts] and Nadine [ Coyle] are the young ones. We’re still protective of them.”

The star says she is proud to have inspired young women to work hard.

“Growing up, we didn’t really have any money. I’d do double shifts at my waitressing job,” she says. “Hard work has got me where I am. If I didn’t have that ambition I wouldn’t have achieved what I have.”
