BGT will be simply spellbinding

ALL eyes were on Amanda Holden at the Britain’s Got Talent auditions yesterday – but it will be spellbinding Hypnodog who promises to steal the show when it starts in the spring.

Amanda Holden stepped out in a navy and black structured two- piece for the talent show’s London auditions.

The 43- year- old judge and mother of two turned heads at the Dominion Theatre wearing tight black trousers with a strapless navy top which showed off her toned arms. She was joined by fellow judge Alesha Dixon, 36, who opted for a rockier look with a leather jacket and lashings of gold jewellery. Simon Cowell and comedian David Walliams, arrived in a flamboyant sedan chair – held aloft by muscle- bound men dressed as Roman gladiators.

But it is a mesmerising canine that threatens to upstage them all.

The black German Spitz called Princess, also known as Hypnodog, convinced audience members that Ant and Dec were naked – but some punters under her spell complained that the act was “disgusting”.

Owner and hypnotherapist Krystyna Lennon, from Leeds, says it is Princess that works wonders when they’re on stage and has toured with her to universities, on sea cruises and at music festivals.

Dec, 39, said: “The dog hypnotised some of the members of the audience and it made them think we were naked. They were saying ‘ put some clothes on’.

“One woman said she was disgusted at us and that she’d never watch us on telly again. So we had to get the woman to snap her out of it.”

Simon, the show’s creator, was also wide- eyed at a contortionist at one of the auditions during visits to Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh, describing the moves as “better than Fifty Shades Of Grey”.

He said yesterday: “I think people have upped their game.”
